The Border Fast Pass Lane begins on Calle Segunda before the
light at the bottom of the bridge where the regular border line
extends.
The Fast Pass lane is its own lane on the right separated by
concrete dividers.
There are also Medical Services signs that
mark this lane along with the blue "With Pass Only" signs.
After going through the toll booth from the Scenic Toll Road (Highway 1) at Playas de Tijuana:
1. Follow the signs that lead to San Diego.
2. After coming down the hill and crossing the bridge, take a
right and loop around.
3. This is Avenida Internacional. You will drive up the hill
and then parallel the U.S. border.
4. Stay on Avenida Internacional for a few miles.
5. Look for the signs that say "Ave Revolución."
6. If the border line is longer, you may consider taking the
following route that peels off to the right to get to Calle
Segunda.
7. Go thru an "Alto" sign and continue straight, passing the Fire
Department on the left and following the curve to the right.
8. Go thru another "Alto," then a street light and at the second
street light you may take a left. This is Calle Segunda.
9. Once on Calle Segunda, stay in the third lane from the left.
This will lead you directly to the Border Fast Pass Lane. The
blue
"With Pass Only" signs are on the right.
10. This lane is also the lane for Medical Services and to get
to Colonia Federal.
11. It is sectioned off with concrete dividers. Continue up the
hill, paralleling the regular border line on the left.
12. Stay in this lane as it parallels the regular border line, up
the hill and over a bridge and then on the left is the booth.
Pull up towards the booth and give the official your Border Fast
Pass.
NOTE: Even if you see cones in the lane, it is NOT closed.
Pull up and the officers will come out of the booth.
